You will be visiting this area alot
throughout the game, so you should get used to the areas. I will
list all the areas you need to know at the moment.
As you enter, notice the two doors
on either side. The one on the left leads to the Dungeon. The door
to the right leads to the Great Hall. Both are locked at the moment,
but do remember them for later use.
Before heading upstairs with Ron,
go to the left of the staircase and you will find a chest with beans.
Now go upstairs and use your wand on the two armours on either side
to get more beans. Now you have a choice. You can either turn right
and head straight for the dormitory, or you can explore a bit and
turn left. If you go left, there will be a mirror to your right
in the hallway. Use your alohomora spell to reveal a passageway
which leads to alot of beans (secret area 1). Next, continue
on until you reach a statue of a witch. Use your spell on her a
few times and get some beans. Now turn right and head forward. Notice
to your right that there will be wall that looks a bit weird. This
is another secret area, but you will not be able to use it yet because
you need another spell for it. So continue on and you will notice
another statue to your left.
When you cast your spell, it will
move backwards, revealing a switch. Get on the switch to reveal
another secret area, with a cauldron you cannot use yet, and a chest
with a Silver Wizard Card (2/40).
Now go on forward and meet Ron to get to your dormitory.
(Cutscene: Harry and Ron go to
the Gryffindor Common Room Entrance and find that they didnt get
the password. Hermione comes and gives it to them and they also
meet Fred and George. The twins explain to them that they and other
students have set up a trading network in the school that Harry
can trade from with his BB(Bertie Botts) beans. Harry and Ron enter
Gryffindor to find that they are thought of as heroes because of
the incident with the Whomping Willow.)
It's a new day and its time for the
first class. The level begins with Harry meeting up with Ron and
Hermione. They will lead you to the class, but first head back upstairs
to the Gryffindor Common Room to get some things. Enter the common
room and to your left, there will be a chest with a Bronze
Card (2/50). There is also a save book to your right,
if you wish to save. You can also meet Gryffindor's prefect, Percy.
